For $750, we would get 1 limo, 22 pax from Waco to DFW. They could be at the terminals in short order. Sun Country, as some of us were getting a little stir crazy, I was able to call a local 24/7 hour limo service. I understand bus drivers have a certain fee for getting out of bed at 2AM. ![]() With regards to ground transportation, we expected that it would arrive within a reasonable time (30 minutes) after deplaning. The company repeatedly deflected ownership. Sun Country made valid statements with respect to FAA/TSA regulations, but they also blamed the local shuttle company for "not cooperating". Local law enforcement and the general aviation terminal staff picked up where they could. Sun Country left no representation on the scene. Maybe an hour later the plane and crew take off leaving all 150+ pax at what was essentially a closed terminal. After he stepped off, the flight attendant provided conflicting direction that we would all deplane and there was no option to deplane confusing passengers (crew coordination, who's in charge?). The pilot told us we had the option to deplane. Media: We waited on the ground for hours, standard, but it went off the rails when after the order to deplane. With the lack of communication, I am concerned how this airline would respond in an elevated scenario. The airline was ad hoc and did not have a plan to take care and comfort customers in an unfortunate event. While unfortunate weather diverts happen, the airline failed to own the situation. Several star players here, but the team failed. ![]() These young men gave credit to the dispatcher at Sun Country who attempted to call up to the CEO, unfortunately he was not empowered enough to take care of the situation. It was a tough spot for them and what Sun Country did to them was extremely unfair and unprofessional. Some positive shout outs to those who worked to make an unfortunate event better: Texas Aero Services and the 20 year olds at the desk were given a challenging and difficult situation which they would not be expected to prepare for and did a decent job. Overall decent flight, but then we got diverted. The crew were average, nothing above and beyond. Pros: "Minnesota was beautiful this time of year!
